The Waterpark Simulator beach map is the 1.0 Miami-style coast addition: neon beachfront vibes, sea mechanics, and separate prestige goals (Welcome to the Coast, Seaside Prestige, King of the Coast). You must start a new park — layouts do not transfer from the main map. Pair with custom slides and money guide. Verified August 16, 2026 · Steam.

From the main menu or new-park flow, pick the Beach template instead of the default main park. Welcome to the Coast unlocks when you begin this save. The opening still teaches demolish, build, ticket sales, and first slide — but terrain includes shoreline constraints and sightlines geared toward coastal decor and boardwalk traffic.

1.0 requires a new park for Beach — you cannot import blueprints or cash from the original map. Skill transfers; save state does not.
Downtown Delight and City Legend require the City template — a third save for 100% achievements.
Coastal sea mechanics mean open water adjacent to build zones — pools and custom slides interact with shoreline height and boardwalk paths.

| Coastal concern | Build response | Ops tie-in |
|---|---|---|
| Splash overflow | Aim slide exits toward pool volumes | Extra mopping on boardwalk |
| Guest drowning | Open-water edges near attractions | Lifeguard chairs facing sea + pools |
| Expansion cliffs | Vertical custom slides | Test landings before slide-pass sales |
| Weather exposure | Heat waves on open decks | Lemonade / ice cream along shore |
1.0 adds zip lines (High Above the Park) and duck-shaped water cannons — build short test lines before spanning the coast.
The Museum houses three NPCs with quest lines unlocking Aztec, Sea, and Pirate theme researches. Normal research still unlocks staff and custom slides.
Extending hours raises atmosphere and wage costs — staff vendors and janitors first.
Security removes disruptive guests (Order Restored). Mascots raise fun on crowded coast evenings.
Beach star pacing mirrors main park plus Seaside Prestige (three stars) and King of the Coast (five stars). Three stars often align with the first major expansion purchase.
1.0 weather includes rain, heat waves, and seasonal Halloween effects — each applies bonuses or nerfs to guest mood and operations. Special events (visitor buses, alien abductions, etc.) spike traffic unpredictably.
Weather is not cosmetic on the coast: rain feeds puddle counters and janitor load, heat pushes lemonade and ice cream sales, and Halloween skins may shift guest patience. Check the calendar icon before you schedule a major expansion opening — launching a new wing during a heat wave without shade or drinks is a predictable satisfaction crash.
Rain increases puddles — good for Mopocalypse grinds, bad if janitors automate too early. Personal mops still count if you patrol boardwalk splash zones first.
Heat waves push lemonade and ice cream; stock before the event icon appears. Shore-facing stalls without queue shade empty fastest.
Visitor buses reward preparation: ticket booth staffed, bracelets checked (No Trespassing), pools pre-chlorinated. Unprepared spikes cause injury clusters that kill Full House (100 guests) attempts.
Treat novelty events like bus days — they spike headcount without warning. Keep a lifeguard and vendor on the primary loop; remote cliff slides should stay closed until baseline service survives the rush.
Beach saves are popular for multiplayer because vertical terrain and boardwalk length reward role split. One player owns gate + bracelets, one owns pool rescue + mop loop, one owns research + construction, and the fourth floats food restock and Security calls during event days.
Shared economy means Mafia loans affect everyone — call a vote before borrowing for a coastal expansion. Host save progress lives on the host Steam account; guests should finish manual achievement counters they care about on their own solo save if Steam tracks per-profile stats differently for co-op sessions.
| Role | Beach priority | Why on coast |
|---|---|---|
| Gate / tickets | Bracelet checks + slide-pass products | Boardwalk sneaks are common on long paths |
| Pool / rescue | Sea-edge lifeguard chairs | Open water + cliff slides raise drowning risk |
| Build / research | Museum + custom slide unlocks | Cliff height needs planned supports |
| Food / mop | Shore stalls + boardwalk puddles | Weather events stack wet floors fast |
